³⁴ When Pharaoh saw that the rain, hail, and thunder had stopped, he continued to sin. He, along with his officials,^[a] hardened his heart. ³⁵ Pharaoh’s heart was stubborn,^[b] and he did not let the Israelis go, just as the Lord had said through Moses.
